The Kaschon Farm
At about 1500 m.m. and not far from the village of St.Valentino our farm is the ideal place for your holiday in agritourism, it will certainly be interesting. Enjoy the beautiful view of the Venosta valley in South Tyrol, from the Lake Resia to the Ortler massif. Forget about everyday troubles and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of our peasant farm.
You will feel good at our farm
For the kids, the animals of the farm are an exciting event. A stable with cows and calves as well as many other small animals are waiting for you. You can help us cuddle them, stroke them and play with them. The large meadows where you can sunbathe are also an adventurous place for the kids.
Our farm is open all year round. You can choose the most suitable apartment for your family. All apartments are equipped with kitchen, dining area, bedroom, bathroom and also a balcony. On request we can offer you a typical country breakfast rich in many products from our farm.
Venosta Valley to live
Many leisure offers allow you to discover new things and fully enjoy your holiday. What about a quiet boat cruise on Lake Resia, a bike ride in the Venosta valley or a walk to the many huts?
In winter skiing facilities invite you to ski, sledge and visit the huts. To make it as easy as possible for your stay, we gladly give you backpacks, hiking rackets, sleds and much more.
Learn about the traditions and customs that we have kept for centuries in our valley. A peculiar custom is the home return of cows from the summer alpine stay in the early autumn. Even the fires dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the “Scheibenschlagen” means flung the glowing wooden disks, or the “Krampus” parade of St. Klaus's devils, are handed down from generation to generation and you should not miss them.
