The activities for your free time in Val Venosta are so many and for all tastes. In the mountains, in the valley or around Lake Resia and Lake St. Valentino, you decide whether to spend quiet days or intense and active ones. Numerous sports both in summer and winter are waiting for you, you can try them and practice them during your vacation.

For lovers of culture and arts there is also a lot to see. Throughout the Venosta there are monasteries, churches, castles and points of interest. Starting from the bunkers and the submerged belfry in Lake Resia, passing through Via Claudia Augusta and the monastery of Monte Maria until reaching the medieval city of Glorenza with their perimetric high walls. A real gem of the region.

Cycling around Lake Reschensee

Summer

Our farmhouse is the ideal starting point for hiking and climbing in the mountains as well. You can refresh yourself in one of the many huts and mountain shelters, where delicious local dishes await you, returning from climbing and enjoying the beautiful landscape. If you prefer to stay in the valley we strongly recommend you the Resia and St Valentin walks around the lakes.

Even on a bicycle, you will discovered the many facets of the Venosta valley. Hiking trails for mountain biking or on Via Claudia Augusta to reach the spa town of Merano. You can then take the train and return to Malles. We will come to the station and pick you up.

On the two lakes you can do kite surf, sailing and also fish. The Kite School offers full beginner training courses and rental equipment. On Lake Resia you can also make a cruise by boat or with pedalos, fun for kids and more. On hot days it is a good way for refreshing.

Winter landscape in the Upper Val Venosta Valley

Winter

In winter, miles of perfectly prepared slopes are the main attraction and most loved by our guests. A free bus takes you to the valley station at St. Valentino, which is not far away. You can also take buses to Belpiano or Nauders. With a daily ticket or multiple-day ticket, St. Valentino Belpiano, you will also have access to the indoor pool at Curon.

Just a few meters from our Kaschon farmhouse, you will find a sledge run, real fun for all your family. The valley can also be explored with cross country skies. 109 kilometers of slopes in Venosta are definitely more than enough. The two icy lakes invite you to romantic walks watching who skates or practices snow kite.
